Today was the Paper Works Private View, I was teaching in the morning so Matisse was the order of the morning, in the afternoon it was the wonderfully put together exhibition of the members of the SGFA. The hanging was done by Stuart Stanley and Archie Niven and several others, it was done beautifully !
Opened by Jackie Devereux and Clifford Burt MD of R. K. Burt paper merchants, in who's gallery the exhibition is held.
He complimented us on the professional level of work and the putting together of the show, very nice of him, he also bought Chris Lee's image of the R.K.Burt building.
We sold some pictures and unframed work and cards, and we met some nice artists and friends, altogether a nice afternoon.
