Tate Britain and the Dulwich Gallery

Two very nice days in London, yesterday Carolyn and I went to the Tate Britain to see the Turner exhibition. It was wonderful and the watercolours were so modern and so colourful, a must to go and see.  We also had a nice lunch there, the members room is beautiful.

We also went to the Fine arts Fair at the Royal College some stunning but horrendously expensive pictures, Henry Moore, Hockney, Mary Fedden,Ben Nicholson and one lovely Winifred Nicholson, only £64.000 so a snip I just didn't want to carry it on the bus.

today Jean, Bernadette and Jenny and I went to the Dulwich gallery, off to Clapham Junction and from there on a wonderful bus ride to Dulwich Village, I ran for the 87 bus but that would have gone to the Tate, so fortunately Jean ran the other way to the 37 bus , oh dear !

But we got there in no time and we had a nice lunch before seeing the Ben Nicholson, Winifred Nicholson, Christopher Wood and Alfred Wallis, to gather near the sea, they painted and created some interesting and beautiful pictures.
We all enjoyed the show and after a coffee we found the 37 Bus and got back home in time for tea!
