quilts and sketchbook and R K Burt

Art Group Example

We worked for , what seems a very long time and finally last week we had the launch of the Example Arts Trail in East Grinstead.
We had a very nice evening with lots of friends and family, the Mayor and Simon Kerr the Tourism and information officer.  And some of my wonderful students came too.    One of the quilts I made for the project is displayed in Standen House, National Trust, the other one in the Thread Needle Shop in East Grinstead.
My sketchbook is a work in progress and will only be finished at the end of the project on November and I will draw in the Bookshop in East Grinstead for the next 6 months.
Look at the Example website to see the other artists projects

I also belong to the SGFA.org.uk and in July we are having an exhibition at The RK Burt gallery in Union Street near the Shard. the show will run form the 8th to the 18th July. Weekdays from 11am to 5pm.

It should be a wonderful exhibition, come and see the work of some of the members of the SGFA.
